About

Adam Ondra is Czech professional rock climber. Adam inherited his passion from his parents who are both climbers. His talent became apparent from the very young age. He started climbing from three years of age and when he was 8 years old, he climbed his first 7b+ (5.12c). He won the World Cup series in both, lead climbing in 2009, 2015 and 2019 and bouldering in 2010. Adam climbed most hard routes in the world, ranging with grades between 8a (5. 13b) and 9c (5.15d).

Despite being disqualified from the Climbing World Championship in 2019 by accidentally stepping on a bolt he persisted and managed to secure a place for Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021.
