About

My Story
From my experience of being a freelance artist and also my part time carer’s job, I can empathise with people and provide user centric support by being able to put myself into their shoes. I believe that sympathy is not enough, however a real empathy can make a difference.
Being a freelance artist I had an opportunity, which was also a challenge, to run an art class for people with additional support needs. This was something that some of them may not have had access to without my help and support. By getting to know the people I was able to provide more user-centric approach in the class. I believe that the same applies in User Experience Design and I take care to understand the user by thorough user research and creation of personas. I am interested to create products that offer real value to the people.
As I found, I generally enjoyed getting into problem analysis and critical thinking in my roles as a freelance artist or my part time carer’s job and I feel that these are the skills that I have under- utilised. I am self-motivated and take interest in learning new things and problem solving. I am also learning some basic coding and I am working on expanding my skillset in that area as well.
